Fees

A standard national fee of £97 (as set by the Government) is charged per request for the discharge of planning conditions.  This does not apply to householder developments.  Check out Fees for Planning Applications in England.

A fee is required for all requests relating to planning conditions imposed on planning permissions for both the approval of relevant details and confirmation that conditions have been complied with.

Note

  1. As a fee is charged per request, if details are submitted separately for each condition, they will count as separate requests, each one liable to a fee.  We advise you to cite all conditions in one request - and be liable for just one fee.
  2. We will endeavour to make a decision within 8 weeks of the date we receive your request.  If we require more time, we will seek your agreement in writing.
  3. We will refund your fee if we are unable to (a) confirm or (b) give indication of confirmation, within 12 weeks of receiving your request.
