Disabled Parking Spaces in Worcester City Centre
The primary aim of the parking scheme was to reduce
congestion in this part of the city. In order to achieve this it
was necessary to reallocate kerbside parking space for use by
taxis, delivery vehicles and disabled badge holders.
Part of this process was to relocate the
disabled badge holder spaces on the north side of St. Swithin's
Street. New spaces for use by disabled badge holders have been
created in Cornmarket and The Cross and the existing facilities in
The Trinity and Trinity Street have been extended.
The following map shows the locations
of on-street parking spaces for disabled badge holders in this
general area:

Disabled badge holders can also park on double
yellow lines for up to 3 hours provided there is no loading ban in
place (as indicated by kerb blips) and vehicles are not parked
obstructively.
Disabled badge holders are also exempt from
time restrictions in on-street limited waiting bays.
Off-street Parking Spaces
Free parking for disabled badge holders is
available in all car parks operated by Worcester City Council
(except Cornmarket). For more information please see its
website at http://www.worcester.gov.uk/.
