  1. Q. Is My Self Service Secure?
    A. Yes, My Self Service is provided through a secure server, this is confirmed by both 'https' showing at the beginning of the filepath (see example A) and a padlock symbol (see example B – however this padlock may be shown in different positions depending on your browser) on all webpages where personal data is requested. Please see an example below:My self service question 1 image

    A. You can raise a service request in three different ways:

  3. Q. How do I register for My Self Service?
    A.
    1. From the WCC Homepage go to My Account within the Apply for it, Pay for it, Renew it and Report it section.
    2. Enter your first name and email address within the Register section and click Continue.
    3. Then complete all of the required fields and please take a moment to read through the information towards to the end of the page. If you are happy for us to contact you in the future please tick the box and then click Register.
    4. You will then be signed in and can sign back in or out at anytime using the 'Username' and 'Password' details that you registered with.
    5. You are now able to use Worcestershire's My Self Service as a registered user (please note this does not currently work for all services and we will continue to work on expanding the services available).

  4. Q. How do I raise a request as a registered user?
    A.

    1. From the WCC Homepage find the service that you wish you use from the Apply for it, Pay for it, Renew it and Report it section
    2. Once you have completed the relevant details about your request you will then be taken to a page where you can either login, leave your details once or remain anonymous. You can then enter your login details using the Username and Password you registered with.
    3. You will then be able to check the status of your request at anytime by accessing My Account.

    A.
    1. From the WCC Homepage find the service that you wish you use from the Apply for it, Pay for it, Renew it and Report it section.
    2. Once you have completed the relevant details about your request you will then be taken to a page where you can either login, leave details once or remain anonymous.
    3. When you select leave details once you will then be asked to complete the required information. This will mean we have all the information we need to deal with your request.
    4. You will be provided with a unique Service Request number which will enable you to track your enquiry online once available, please see our new features Coming soon.

    A.

    1. From the WCC Homepage find the service that you wish you use from the Apply for it, Pay for it, Renew it and Report it section.
    2. Once you have completed the relevant details about your request you will then be taken to a page where you can either login, leave details once or remain anonymous.
    3. When you select to remain anonymous you will be given a unique Service Request number which will enable you to track your enquiry online once available, please see our new features Coming soon.
    4. Please note we cannot guarantee to progress anonymous enquires where insufficient information has been provided such as location.

  7. Q. How do I track my service request?

    A. Registered users can track progress themselves online at anytime by logging into My Account and using the unique Service Request number.

  8. Q. What happens once I submit my request?
    A. Your request is sent directly to the relevant service area on pressing submit, so please provide as much information as possible to enable us to deal with your request quickly and effectively.

  9. Q. I've forgotten my password, what do I do?

    A. Go to My Account and click on Forgotten Password. Then follow the on screen instructions and we will email you a temporary password to enable you to log in.

    You can then update this password to something more memorable to you by log in details to you.
