Members Event - a Christmas "Social" and an opportunity for members to share their projects and 2014 activity memories.


1st December *Meetings begin at 2pm and last approximately 2 hours, the presentation lasts about an hour and this is followed by refreshments and Society business and project reports. Non-members will be charged £2 (refundable against a membership fee).

The venue for the meetings is Redditch Library.

French Conversational Club Every Thursday evening, 5.30pm - 6.30pm This club is free of charge and available to anyone who already has a conversational level of French and is keen to practice/improve their skills.
Redditch Local History Society invite you to "Drop In" to our Monthly History Sessions. Ask staff for details of the next drop-in session.

Come and talk to the team building the archive of Lost Redditch. Share with us your memories, photographs and artefacts and help Remember Lost Redditch. Ask at the Library for more details or call 01527 404365.

  • Human Maze
Friday 29th August, 10am – 12 noon Take the challenge! Answer the questions and make your way through the Human Maze. Are you brave enough?! Ages 8-12.
  • Story, Song and Rhyme, including refreshments
Friday 22nd August, 10am – 12 noon Join us for songs, stories, rhymes, puppets, instruments and most importantly bubbles! Ages 0-4.
  • Make your own Chinese Dragon Craft
Friday 15th August, 10am – 12 noon Create and play with your very own Chinese Dragon Puppet. Ages 5-12.
  • Elmer's Coat Craft and Story Time
Friday 8th August, 10am – 12 noon Help us re-design Elmer the Elephant's colourful coat and listen to fun and fab stories. Ages 3-8.
  • Medusa Shield and Snake Puppet Craft Activity
Friday 1st August, 10am – 12 noon Prepare yourself for battle with a Medusa Shield and scare your friends with our snake finger puppets! Ages 5-12.
Saturday Storytime Saturday at 11.00 am For all children aged 2-7 years old.  No tickets needed for these sessions

Baby Bounce and Rhyme

Monday (during term time) from 11.00-11.30 am. Calling all babies 0-18 months, parents and carers.

Once a month on a Thursday from 4 - 5pm If you are between 9 and 14 years of age you can join our reading group.
Homework Help After school, on Saturdays and during the holidays. Do you need extra help finding websites and information?
Story, Song and Rhyme Wednesday first session from 9.45 - 10.30 am and second session from 10.45 - 11.30 am; term time only.
Both sessions include an introduction to appreciation of reading for toddlers.
