Why have the Worcestershire Districts decided to
develop a countywide strategy?
Worcestershire is a diverse, successful and thriving county. In
2009, the six District and Borough Councils of Worcestershire
have agreed to develop a brand new countywide Housing
Strategy Statement to:
"Homing In On Housing" - Public Consultation Events

The County Housing Strategy is shaped by
communities and stakeholders who live in Worcestershire.
So far, two very successful "Homing in On
Housing" consultation events have been held with local
communities and stakeholders across Worcestershire to find out:
What the key issues that impact on
housing within Worcestershire?
Where funding, resources and policies should be
directed?
The presentations delivered at the "Homing In on Housing"
Stakeholder Events in September 2009 are now available for download

When the Draft Worcestershire County Housing
Strategy has been written, it will be placed on this website for
download or available in hard copy format for
public consultation prior to its final adoption
by each District and Borough Council.
