	Worcestershire Association of Carers	Visit: www.carersworcs.org.uk Worcestershire Association of Carers is run by and for carers. A carer is someone who is looking after a family member, friend or neighbour who is disabled, ill or frail. There are more than 50,000 carers in the whole of Worcestershire and in the region of 10,000 in the Worcester City area.
	West Midlands Care Association	Visit: www.wmcha.co.uk a non profit organisation, set up for the benefit of its members and their residents/service users. Members of the association provide quality care services for every area of Adult Care.

	Contact a Family	Visit: www.cafamily.org.uk Every day over sixty children in the UK are born or diagnosed with a serious disability and the vast majority of them are cared for at home. Contact a Family (CaF) is the only UK charity providing support and advice to parents whatever the medical condition of their child.
	Mental Health Care	Visit: www.mentalhealthcare.org.uk/ Mental health information from the Institute of Psychiatry, South London and Maudsley NHS Trust and Rethink. The site currently deals with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and is particularly suited to carers, friends and family of anyone with a mental illness
	National Careline	Visit: www.thenationalcareline.org/ The National Careline is a not for profit company offering information about care and support for older people, their carers and their families.
	CSV Voluntary Carers	Visit: www.csv.org.uk/fulltimevolunteering CSV is the UK's largest volunteering and training organisation. We offer full time volunteering opportunities in the social care sector UK wide
	Government Information for Carers	Visit: www.carers.gov.uk Includes the National Strategy for Carers
	NAAPS	Visit: www.naaps.org.uk NAAPS is a UK charity which represents the interests of all those involved in Shared Lives (formerly Adult Placement), other Small Community Services and Homeshare and promotes high standards of practice.
	Community Development Foundation	Visit: www.cdf.org.uk CDF strengthens communities by ensuring the effective participation of people in the decision making processes which affect their lives.
	Foster Care Associates	Visit: www.thefca.co.uk FCA is the UK's largest Independent Fostering Agency (IFA). We work in partnership with Local Authorities & Trusts throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to provide the highest quality fostering placements for children and young people.
