Performance and Improvement Plans
The Finance Function is not an end in itself and there are ways
in which we can judge our success in meeting finance objectives
that in turn contribute towards helping the whole Council achieve
its overall aims. The focus on performance is important but we must
also show we intend to keep on trying to improve the quality and
cost effectiveness of the finance service.
Our desire is to provide our customers with services that are
high quality, relevant and at a price that is affordable. Our
philosophy concentrates on serving customers, promoting good
stewardship of public funds and supporting the Council’s
objectives.
In the Service Performance Plan you will see set out our own
objectives for the Finance Function together with statements about
how we will go about undertaking our duties.
