Financial Services
The
County Council has substantial financial responsibilities. Its
annual revenue budget amounts to £300 million and it receives
specific grants of approximately £428 million (including £291
million Dedicated Schools Grant). Capital Investment planned for
the next few years is almost £480 million. The Council maintains a
staff pension fund worth £1,195 million.
