Recover
We provide services to help individuals and communities
to recover. The four key impacts that a community and individuals
will need to recover from following an emergency are illustrated in
the diagram below.
Recovery groups consider each of these areas identified and
specialist teams if necessary are established to address these
particular areas.
Humanitarian Assistance – Including health
- Physical Impacts (including individuals' health, housing,
financial needs).
- Psychological impacts.
- Deaths.
- Community displacement.
Economic
- Economic and business recovery.

- Disruption to daily life (e.g. educational establishments,
welfare services, transport system).
- Disruption to utilities / essential services.
- Damage to residential properties and security of empty
buildings.

A Recovery Coordinating Group will be established and agree

The wider community will be involved in setting these
objectives. Suggested targets / milestones will include some of the
following:

health).
