Welcome to Worcestershire Youth Music

Worcestershire Youth Music has been in existence in some form within the Local Authority for over fifty years and has an established reputation for the high quality of its tuition and performance activities.

CellistOpportunities for instrumental and vocal tuition are available in schools and music centres throughout the County and we are currently developing our successful whole class, inclusive Wider Opportunities initiative into "Play2learn", a fully-fledged scheme designed to increase the numbers of young people learning instruments.

We also provide a wide range of high quality ensemble opportunities at Area or County Level, as well as running trips, courses, concerts and taking part in regional and national competitions.

All pupils engaged in Worcestershire Youth Music activities are offered the opportunity to hire an instrument from the service, with free maintenance support included.
