There are a number of ways to get in touch with us, so just
choose the best way for you! You can get
in touch with a member of our team using the

- Phone: You can call the Family Information
Service helpline on 01905 822 666, Monday to
Friday, 9am to 5pm. Our qualified helpline staff (Family
Information, Advice and Brokerage Officers) are here to help.
Information will be posted out the same day.
- Email: You can request information by sending
us an email: familyinfo@worcestershire.gov.uk.
- Face-to-face: Our Family Information,
Advice and Brokerage Officers spend much of their time
out in the communities of Worcestershire, so we are more than
happy to meet you face-to-face and have a chat. To find out if we
will be out and about near you, please get in touch.
- Childcare enquiry form: If you
are looking for childcare and would like us to search for
you, you can fill in our enquiry form.
- Post: If you'd like to get in
touch by sending us a letter in the post, our address

A little bit about us...
Worcestershire's Family Information Service (often called the
'FIS') provide information and advice to families with children
aged 0 to 19 years, throughout Worcestershire.
All information is free and
impartial.
We can help with information and advice on:
- Support services for families
- Childcare
- Schools and learning
- Things to do and places to go
- Money matters
- Working with children
- Rights of working parents
- And more......
Our fully trained team of Family Information, Advice and
Brokerage Officers are at hand to help you.

How can we help you?
Have you got a question, but you don't know who to ask? We are
here to help any family with children aged 0 to 19 in
Worcestershire.
Examples of questions you may like to ask
us:
- "I have a new baby and I am new to the area, where could I
go to get to know other mums?"
- "My son is on half term next week, do you have any
ideas about activities in Redditch that he could get involved
with?"
- "I am going back to work soon and would like to find out about
childminders in Malvern for my daughter. Do you have a list of
childminder contacts?"
- "I have a 17 year old son and I'm worried that he's started
smoking. Do you have any contacts for organisations that would be
able to help me?"
The Family Information Service welcomes any parent with any
question, from issues ranging from money matters to childcare to
rights of working parents.
