Aftercare

Aftercare is a department within Children’s Services. It is a service designed to help support, advice, assist and befriend young people who are in care or are leaving the care system

Child's Voice

Connexions

Connexions Worcestershire offers information, advice and guidance to all 13 – 19 year olds (up to 25 year olds if they have additional needs)

Early Years & Childcare

The service provides support for early years and childcare settings in the county and the Family Information Service, which is part of the Early Years and Childcare Service, provides information for families so that parents can make informed decisions for their children.

Extended Services

Children's Centres
Children's Centres provide a range of services for families in the local community, particularly parents and carers with children under the age of five.

Extended Schools
In June 2006 the Government launched its Extended Schools Prospectus which set out the vision for developing extended services in and around schools.

Forest Schools

Worcestershire Forest Schools Initiative is based at Bishops Wood Centre, near Stourport-on-Severn. The Centre is supported by the National Grid.

Learning Support

The Learning Support Team is committed to working in partnership with schools, parents and other professionals to raise standards of achievement for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

Parent Partnership Service
