Welcome to Worcestershire Children's Services
Children's Services is a Directorate within the County Council
established under the Children Act (2004) to provide strategic
leadership on partnership co-operation to improve the well-being of
children and young people in Worcestershire against the five
nationally adopted outcomes: that young people are healthy, safe,
achieving, can make a positive contribution, and achieve economic
well-being. The Directorate combines the previous Education
Services with the children's social care element with what was
Social Services. We are passionate about making a positive
difference to the lives of all our children and young people in the
County.
