Choices Information Session
Choices is a free information session that will help you decide
whether working with children, young people and their families is
for you. The session looks at careers in early years education,
childcare, playwork and family support, working
with children aged 0 to 5 and includes:
- The importance of working with children, young people and their
families
- Legislation
- Skills and qualities required
- The range of employment opportunities available
- Qualifications and career development
- Identifying next steps.

The Family Information
Service (FIS) also provide information for families with
children aged 0-19. If you don't know who to ask, ask the FIS!
