The Team
The team

audiologists, sign language skills advisors, deaf role models
and specially trained teaching assistants. We aim to provide
a comprehensive support and teaching service to babies and pupils
with a hearing impairment, their families, carers, schools and
other agencies.
If your child has a suspected hearing impairment, the Hearing
Impaired Team will become involved as soon as a referral to the
service is made. We have an open referral policy and will
accept requests for involvement from parents/carers, medical
professionals, professionals within Children's Services, nurseries
and schools. A Request for Involvement form and accompanying
guidance notes can be downloaded at the top of the right hand
column.
