due to the involvement of Early Intervention Family Support.

Most common reasons for referral are:-
- Behaviour at home and in the community – 23%
- Relationship difficulties at home – 18%
- Parenting – 15%
"Our EIFSW has built
good relationships with parents who have been referred and feedback
from families is very positive. They are certainly helping in ways
that we didn’t previously have the expertise or capacity
to."
54% of families noticed an improvement in
their child's behaviour at school.
28% of families saw an
improvement in their child's attendance at school (in 69% of cases
attendance was not an issue).

confident in their parenting as a result of our support.

"Having an Early
Intervention Family Support Worker has enabled our school to offer
an effective support mechanism to our families. Through the
use of direct work, signposting and inter-agency working, families
have been able to take ownership of issues and move forward.
This has had a direct impact on pupil engagement, attendance and
stability."
98% of families would recommend
Early Intervention Family Support to another family.
60% of all referrals are made by schools, the
second highest referrers are families themselves with 16%.
