Parenting Programmes
Parenting programmes provide an opportunity for groups of
parents to come together, share their experiences and receive
knowledge, skills and advice to help promote more effective
parenting.
Early Intervention Family Support delivers the following
programmes. For more information or to discuss attending a
programme, please contact either the specific person listed below

Family Links
A ten week nurture based programme that builds on the skills
that parents already have and introduces lots of ways to improve
family relationships and manage the behaviour of children of all
ages.

Triple P - Stepping Stones
An eight week specialist programme for parents/carers of
children with additional needs/disabilities, focusing on specific
strategies to support the individual traits of children with
Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder, physical disabilities including the progression of
language, family relationships, independence, communication and
emotional/behavioural management.
