Service Update

Substance misuse commissioning and strategy development are now part of the new structures within Worcestershire County Council. Worcestershire DAAT (Drug and Alcohol Action Team) ceased to exist on 31st March 2013.  The strategic functions will be carried out within the Health and Wellbeing Partnership and Strategy Service, whilst the commissioning functions will be carried out within the Joint Commissioning Unit (JCU), which is part of the new Directorate of Adult Services and Health (DASH).  We will be updating all of the affected web pages as soon as possible.

Substance Misuse now comes under the Lead Commissioner for Older People and Vulnerable Adults - Elaine Carolan. The Substance Misuse Commissioner will be Anne McKay, and the Commissioning Support Officer is Sue Davidson. The Head of the Joint Commissioning Unit is Richard Keble.
Strategy Development will come under Frances Howie in the Health and Wellbeing Partnership and Strategy Service.
