Required

Where planning permission is required:
You will have been advised by the District/Borough Councils that
Planning Permission is required and a formal Planning Application
must be submitted to the appropriate Planning Authority. This
is not something Worcestershire County Council can assist with.
Please phone the Worcestershire Hub on 0845 607 2005 and
they will put you in touch with the appropriate Planning
Authority.
Once you have received your Planning Permission, please
telephone Worcestershire County Council when you will be asked for
your Planning Permission number and site details. Upon
receipt of this information, we will send to you a licence to carry
out the work, together with a list of County Council approved
contractors. This licence is valid for one year from the date
of issue.
Only contractors from this approved list are permitted to carry
out works. In the event that an unauthorised contractor is
used, the County Council will reserve the right to reconstruct the
access and re-charge all costs incurred.
Once the licence has been granted, the applicant should contact
a contractor from the County Council's list of approved contractors
and agree a price to carry out the work. You will be required to
give your reference number to the contractor. It will then be
up to the contractor to contact this authority to arrange a
suitable time to carry out the work. All contractors on this
list are fully aware of the procedure.
Please note that the contractor will be required to give a
minimum of five working days notice to this Authority of his
intentions to carry out the work and gain the approval of the
County Council.
If you require further information or assistance please contact
the Worcestershire HUB on 0845 607 2005
