A non-refundable fee of £100 will be required to cover the cost of a licence and associated inspections. Licences will expire in one year from the date of issue.

On receipt of payment, an officer will endeavour to visit the site within 28 days to determine its suitability in terms of safety and, if no objections are found, the licence will be granted.  In some cases the access may be on a traffic sensitive street; these are generally the busier roads and the officer will note this on the licence.  You will at this time be issued with a unique reference number.

Once the licence has been granted, the applicant should contact a contractor from the County Council's approved list and agree a price to carry out the work.  You will be responsible for all costs incurred by the contractor; the County Council is unable to assist in this regard.  You will be required to give your reference number to the contractor.  It will then be up to the contractor to contact this authority to arrange a suitable time to carry out the work.  All contractors on this list are fully aware of the procedure.

If you require further information or assistance please contact the Worcestershire HUB on 0845 607 2005

How to pay?

Please telephone  0845 607 2005 between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday with details of your debit/credit card. We will, of course, discuss alternative methods of payment with you.
