Disabled Parking - Blue Badge Scheme
This scheme (parking badges for disabled people) provides parking concessions both nationally and in Europe, for people with a permanent and substantial disability, whether the person is the driver or the passenger.

Direct Payments
Simply payments of money made by the county council to people so they can arrange their own care when they need it.

	Care and Support Care services for the young to the elderly. Helping people at home and in care know what they are entitled to and how to access services.		Disabilities and Health Advice and support for people with physical, sensory, learning and health issues. Find practical, emotional and/or social support.

	Domestic Abuse Help to recognise the signs of domestic abuse, what support is available and where to go for free and confidential help.		Independent and Active Find out about transport services, social groups and supported living to keep you independence and active.

	Money Matters Learn about the charges that apply to social care services, when payment is needed, how to pay and how you could be entitled to benefits.		Safeguarding Adults Protection of vulnerable adults is a multi-agency responsibility, to ensure that vulnerable adults, who are at risk of abuse, receive protection and support.

	Carers Do you look after an adult who is ill, disabled or frail and cannot manage without your help? If so we have information that will help you.		Children and Families A range of services, information, links and documents on adoption, fostering, children with disabilities and protecting children.
