Standards and Ethics CommitteeAll Members of the Council May 2011

The Committee exists to promote and maintain a high standard of conduct by County Councillors and co-opted members. It is politically balanced and includes 3 persons who are not Councillors and are entirely independent of the Council. 2 of those independent members are the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Committee.

Meetings are open to the public and press and are broadcast (where possible). See the recent and future webcasts. Unless otherwise shown, all meetings are held at County Hall.

The Standards and Ethics Committee will normally meet 4 times a year. Unless otherwise stated the meetings will be held at 10.00 a.m.
