Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board (OSPB)

 The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board (OSPB) is made up of 8 councillors who are not on the Cabinet, plus 2 Church Representatives and 2 Parent Governor Representatives.  Its main role is to scrutinise the work of the Council and agree the scrutiny programme.

The OSPB will commission scrutiny through itself, the Panels or time - limited Scrutiny Task Groups.
The OSPB's meetings are open to the public and press and are webcast (where possible).

Public Participation

Members of the public wishing to take part should notify the Director of Resources in writing or by email indicating the nature and content of their proposed participation no later than 9:00am on the working day before the meeting. Find out more information on how to attend a meeting.
