Joint Employees CommitteeAll Members of the Council May 2011

This Committee provides a forum for consultation, sharing of information and/or negotiation on any employee relations matter affecting employees of the Council whose terms and conditions of employment fall with the National Joint Council for Local Government Service.

The committee is governed by a formal constitution. These meetings are not public meetings.  

Each meeting of the Joint Employees Committee is preceded by a meeting of the Employers' Side of the Joint Employees Committee. The Employers' Side meets to discuss the Council's position with regard to issues raised for discussion at the Joint Employees Committee meeting. This meeting is open to the public unless the matter to be discussed is confidential or exempt.
