About the Chairman of Worcestershire County
Council
Mr Ed
Moore was elected Chairman of Worcestershire County
Council at the Annual Meeting held on 12 May 2011, to serve for the
2011/12 Civic Year.
As Chairman Ed is the civic figurehead of
the County Council. He has an ambassadorial role to promote
the County Council and Worcestershire as a whole and to enhance the
reputation of both. During his year he will carry out a whole host
of civic, community and ceremonial duties as well as chairing
meetings of Full Council
His Vice-Chairman is Rob Adams, whose role is to support the
Chairman in carrying out these duties and
to represent him in his absence.
