Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE)All Members of the Council May 2011

SACRE advises the Local Authority upon matters concerned with the provision of Religious Education and Collective Worship in County Schools. It is also responsible for producing an Approved Syllabus for Religious Education. SACRE is a statutory body as laid out in the Education Act 1996.

Public Participation

Members of the public wishing to take part should notify the Director of Resources in writing or by email indicating the nature and content of their proposed participation no later than 9.00am on the working day before the meeting.
