Appointments Panel
The Appointments, Etc Panel meets from time to time to determine
issues:
- to do with the
employment of the Chief Executive, Directors and Heads of Service
(appointment, terms and conditions, discipline, capability,
suspension or dismissal in line with the Officer Employment Rules
which are Appendix 9 of the constitution)
- relating to
non-executive functions relating to staffing and personnel matters
(not delegated to officers) which include early termination of
employment or redundancy involving the award of added years.
Meetings of the Panel are public meetings which,
depending on the items under consideration, will often exclude the
press and the public.
