Appeal and Review PanelsAll Members of the Council May 2011

Appeal and Review Panels are set up to hear and determine issues relating to a range of issues which include:
  • Employee Appeal Panel

    This Panel meets to consider an employee's appeal against dismissal.   Three county councillors make up this Panel.
  •  Review Panel

    This Panel forms part of the council's formal complaints process and is concerned with members of the public who have complained about certain council services and who remain dissatisfied following the complaint's investigation.  Meetings of this Panel are chaired by an independent person and may involve either two county councillors or another two independent people.

Meetings of these Panels are not public meetings

Appellate Panel Members

A group of County Councillors, who have received specific training, are eligible to sit on Employee Appeal and Review Panels. Individuals independent of the Council chair meetings of the Review Panels.
