Bus Stop Improvements
Pershore High School Bus Bay Improvements
Worcestershire County Council has been working in partnership
with Pershore High School to improve the movement of buses and
pedestrians on the school site to make it a safer environment for
students.
Phase 1 of the improvements introduced during
the school summer holidays 2010, saw the marking out of new bus
bays and pedestrian walkways, within the school site. This new
system removes the need for buses to reverse in order to exit the
site, and allows for safer pedestrian movement at the start and end
of the school day.
Phase 2 of the scheme is looking at segregating
the movement of cars, pedestrians and buses around the school site
and will be carried out during 2011.
