Volunteer Work Groups

The Countryside Service has volunteer opportunities at both
their Worcester Woods and Waseley Hills Country Parks. There is a
volunteer day at Worcester Woods on Thursday and at Waseley Hills
on Wednesdays. Volunteers working with the country park staff have
the opportunity to meet new people, get fresh air and exercise,
learn new skills such as coppicing, hedgelaying, orchard
restoration and willow weaving, whilst making a contribution to the
management of the parks, so enhancing the environment of the local
area.
