Blackstone Picnic Place

Whatever the weather and season, this is a good site to base yourself to explore the surrounding countryside. The mighty River Severn is the most obvious attraction near here, but look a little further afield and there are three nature reserves and two historic towns all within walking distance.

Site Location

Blackstone Picnic Place, DY12 1PU. Located between Stourport and Bewdley off the A456 Bewdley by-pass. Height barrier 6'6" 1.980 metres. Follow the brown and white tourist signs.

Accessibility Information

  • No dedicated parking areas for visitors with disabilities, although all parking (rolled stone) is close to picnic area and site information
  • Topography of the site is flat
  • Picnic area (with wheelchair accessible tables) is flat grass and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs
