Purchase of equipment
PCs, notebook computers and peripherals are purchased under a
framework agreement which is the subject of a tender process. The
tender is advertised by placement of a contract notice in the
Supplement of the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ S), in
respect of the European public procurement directives.
Maintenance
All equipment is purchased with a maintenance agreement to cover
the expected life of that equipment.
IBS has approximately 190 staff in various areas, with the
largest being IT and network support staff, and analyst
programmers.
