At the County Council, we recognise the vital work of
individuals and organisations in the VCS who deliver valuable
services to local communities (and are often better-placed to do so
than the council itself).
In the VCS Unit our small team works with VCS organisations
throughout the county to:
- Act as a link between groups and funding providers
- Support the infrastructure of the VCS
- Manage the County Council's VCS grants scheme
- Promote the principles of the Worcestershire Compact
We hope these web pages will offer you with some useful
information on the work of the Council with the VCS and offer
you some information and support both from the Council and across
the County.
