Citizens' Panel Festive Event 2007
On Wednesday 5th December the fifth annual Citizens’ Panel event
was held at County Hall. The evening began with a festive buffet,
where the 70 invited panel members had the chance to talk
informally with Chief Officers of the County Council. This was
followed by a number of activity groups and an open forum
session.
Festive Buffet
The activity groups were designed to give more detailed insights
into the work of particular parts of the county council, but in a
fun and informal way. They also provided an opportunity for us to
find out what participants think of our services. The six groups
were:
- Buying Freedom
- Climate Talk, Our Planet, Our Say
- Environmental Games Room
- Worcestershire Hub 4U
- Making Life Better
- Worcestershire: A healthy place to live?

Group activities
The final event of the evening was an open forum session where
panel members had the opportunity to ask questions to our Chief
Officers and Heads of Service. A lively discussion was enjoyed by
all.
