May 2005 Citizens' Panel Survey
The 11th Citizens' Panel survey was themed around Quality of
Life and Worcestershire Partnership's Community Strategy. The
Worcestershire Partnership's Community Strategy sets out a vision
for the future of Worcestershire and a 10 year plan of how that
vision will be achieved. To find out more about Worcestershire

The questionnaire started with a section on Quality of life and
then moved on to cover four out of the six themes from the
Worcestershire Partnership's Community Strategy. The four themes
were: Communities that are safe and that feel safe, A better
environment for today and for our children, Learning and Skills for
everyone at every age and Connecting Worcestershire.
In 2003, we conducted a similar survey to this in order to
establish what people thought it was like to live in
Worcestershire, and to find out their priorities for the future.
The May 2005 survey repeated some sections from the 2003 survey and
the results were used to track changes in opinions over time. We
aim to repeat the same survey every 2-3 years. This will help us to
judge whether the work that has gone on to turn the aspirations in
the Community Strategy into positive action has had an impact on
you as a local resident.
The survey period ran from 23rd May to 20th June 2005.
