Project Diaries

Plan of proposed reconstruction of the Guildhall, 1870sWe are currently working on special projects with a range of groups, from amateur historians to adult life skills students, primary school groups and the elderly.

As community projects progress, we will be asking participants to write diaries and accounts of their activities – from serious research to creating a ‘parish map’ using archival evidence.

Getting Involved

We have a full contingent of volunteers at the moment but are happy to add contact details to a 'waiting list'.

We may well have a vacant volunteering position in other areas of the County Archives – for more information, please contact us.
