Worcester Library is housed in a building that is over 100 years old on one of the main routes into the City.  It shares its premises with the City Museum and Art Gallery and the
Little G I N G E R  P I G Company © Cafe.

As well as lending books, Spoken Word, CD's, Videos, DVD's and CD-Roms it also offers the following services:-

  • 48 computers offering free access to the internet for up to 2 hours a day
  • Local and national newspapers and magazines  to browse
  • Worcestershire County Music Library - lending orchestral and vocal scores to local performers
  • Experienced library staff to answer your questions
  • Community collections of books to local groups, care homes, childminders and playgroups
  • Photocopier and Fax services
  • Library Service at Home
  • Children's Activities
  • Readers group - 3rd Monday of the month from 5.30pm in the Committee Room on the ground floor 
  • Class visits for schools and youth groups
  • WEA introduction to ICT classes
  • For events and happenings in and around Worcester view or print your own copy of our publication  Happening
  • Find out more about the new Worcester Library and History Centre
  • The toilets at Worcester Library are in the Art Gallery/Museum upstairs.  They are available during Art Gallery and Museum opening hours .  There are disabled and baby changing facilties and an accessible lift.
  • Wifi - Free access for customers.
