Adult Community Learning

Worcestershire County Council Libraries and Learning Service provide a range of part time adult learning day and evening courses. Whatever your age or background, everyone is welcome to access adult learning activities that are designed to develop personal skills and open new doors for you to gain new experiences.

The Adult Learning service we provide includes:

  • Computing
  • Creative Arts
  • Photography
  • Health and Well Being
  • Languages
  • Family Learning
  • Local interest

We also provide a number of workshops to strengthen English or Math skills taking you up to level 2 qualifications. Our courses can be accessed in Community Centres, Schools and Libraries across the county. Discover a friendly, fun, adult learning environment that encourages personal development and helps you gain new skills.


Life Skills

The Life Skills Programme provides free learning opportunities for adults, aged over 26 years with learning disabilities and/or disabilities.


Community Learning Outreach

The Community Outreach team travel to venues all over the county where people may not have easy access to adult learning through established education centres, such as colleges.


Comput@bus

Our Comput@bus is a fun and versatile mobile learning centre, with seating for eight learners using desktop computers. For areas where local centres aren't available we can offer learning activities through our Mobile e-Learning Centre known as the Comput@bus.


Family Learning in Worcestershire

Parents and children learn together Parents can brush up on their own Literacy and Numeracy skills,
find out about the Literacy, Numeracy and Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and how they are taught in schools and nurseries.


Skills for Life

The Skills for Life programme provides free adult learning
opportunities for people wanting to develop their Literacy, Language (ESOL) and Numeracy skills


Fairfield Neighbourhood Learning Centre

The Fairfield Neighbourhood Learning Centre offers adults a friendly and supportive environment in which to learn and gain skills.
