Take a ramble around Romsley
Explore our countryside on Saturday
23rd June with a fantastic guided walk.
The walk will be led by Worcestershire County
Council’s volunteer Parish Paths Warden Stuart Smith and will start
at 10:30am at Romsley Recreation ground car park. The ramble around
Romsley and Hunnington will cover around 4 miles and is expected to
finish at 1pm.
The walk is a circular walk through a mixture
of grass and arable fields and a small amount of woodland with
several points of interest relating to the Elan aqueduct and the
old Halesowen railway, including the Dowry Dell viaduct
remains.
Following the rain, please be prepared to
encounter some mud – footwear should be boots, trainers or strong
shoes. There could be sheep in some of the fields so whilst dogs
are welcome please they will need to be kept under close
control.
