Help your organisation grow with the Changing Futures
Fund
Organisations in Worcestershire are being
encouraged to come along to a launch event to find out more about
funding that might be available to them.
As part of Worcestershire County Council's
commitment to supporting the voluntary and community sector (VCS)
to develop strong, sustainable organisations, the council has set
aside a special fund of £750,000, called the Changing Futures Fund,
to deliver a range of targeted support packages. The types of
support packages include areas like human resources, financial
planning, marketing and start up advice.
Organisations are encouraged to book onto the
Changing Futures Fund launch event to find out what help is
available and meet the people that can provide it. The launch is
being held at the University of Worcester on Wednesday 20 June and
will be split into two sessions.
The first session, which will take place
between 9.30am and 12noon is for those interested in setting up an
organisation, such as a community group, or seeking to develop
their established one. The second session will run from 1.30pm
until 4pm and is for those who'd like to find out more about
Commissioning and providing services for the County Council.
Suzy James, Worcestershire County
Council's VCS Coordinator said: “We are keen to promote
