Chief Executive, Trish Haines, visits
Chaddesley
As part of her commitment to meeting the needs
of residents, Worcestershire County Council's Chief Executive,
Trish Haines, has been visiting divisions, along with local
councillors, to find out more about different areas across the
county.
On August 23 she visited Chaddesley division in Wyre
Forest along with County Councillor Stephen Clee and District
Councillor Stephen Williams to have a look around the pretty, rural
area.
The three were given a tour of Chaddesley
Primary School during which they were shown the support given to
the Voluntary Aided School from the Education Foundation Trust.
They also met with the Head teacher and the Chairman of Governors
to discuss the Building Schools for the Future programme and its
effect on the pupils at the school, as well as visiting the site
where the new school will be built.
Trish said: "It is very
interesting to see the issues affecting the different parts of the
county. Priorities and needs in more rural areas, like Chaddesley,
can be very different to those in more urban areas of the county.
These visits give me the opportunity to understand how we can
target our services to ensure all our residents' needs are
met."
Councillor Clee added:
"Having Trish visit our division is a great opportunity to
highlight the pressing issues for local people. The visit was very
helpful and we hope we have given her a good overview of the
area."
