New Pershore town
Worcestershire County Council has released a
new free map covering the Pershore area in an effort to ease
journeys in and around the town.
The map highlights all the walking and cycling
routes in the area, providing a variety of helpful information to
ensure safe and productive local commutes. All major amenities are
marked, as are the main tourist attractions, making this useful to
both residents and visitors to the town.
The Regional Cycle Network route number 44
passes through the heart of the town, and with the help of the map,
local links provide residents the chance to safely access the
popular cycle route.
Councillor Derek Prodger MBE,
Worcestershire County Council's Cabinet Member for Transport and
Safe Environment says," Walking and cycling are great ways
to get around our towns and villages, and this new map provides
residents with the perfect opportunity to explore Pershore by foot
or on two wheels. With everyone looking for better ways to travel
around, whilst saving money, this new map will help plan those
journey's with ease."
