Start Living for Tomorrow!

This month sees the launch of Worcestershire County Council's 'Living for Tomorrow' challenge which will encourage residents to start taking some simple steps towards a sustainable lifestyle which should result in positive benefits for both health and finances.

There will eight challenges available, launched throughout the year, which residents can sign up for, ranging from reducing energy usage to growing their own vegetables. Each challenge offers a number of easy actions which can help improve home and lifestyle as well as giving further information and support. Information on each challenge will be sent to those signed up to the challenge as they become available.

Cat Ainsworth, Principal Sustainability Manager, said: "The 'Living for Tomorrow' challenge is an ideal way to take quick and easy steps to save money on energy bills, improve health or learn a new skill. We are encouraging everyone to get involved either by requesting a pack or visiting our website where you'll find lots of hints, tips and sources of further information."

Residents can contact Worcestershire County Council's Sustainability team for their free 'Getting Started' pack or for further information on the 'Living for Tomorrow' campaign on 01905 822029, email sustainability@worcestershire.gov.uk or visit www.worcestershire.gov.uk/greendirectory where the information contained in the packs is also available.
