Easter Trail at Bishops Wood Centre
Bishops Wood, the environmental education
centre will be opening its doors to families this Easter.
The Worcestershire County Council funded
centre, is inviting families to come along and have a fun day
together at the centre on Sunday March 28.
The centre, which is normally used by schools
and other groups interested in learning about environmental issues,
is welcoming visitors to try out the Easter Trail, find the missing
pieces of a puzzle and spend time together in the grounds of the
centre. While they investigate the site, visitors can
take a look at the variety of environmental buildings including a
new dome structure and replacement Saxon Hall, after the original
burnt down in 2008.
John Rhymer, Head of Centre
said: "Families will enjoy this novel way of exploring our
beautiful site in order to solve the Easter riddles. The
wildlife will be stirring into life after the cold winter."
The centre will be open between 2pm and 4pm on
Sunday March 28. Entrance costs £2 for adults and £1 for
children. For more information contact the Bishops Wood
Centre on 01299 250513 or email jrhymer@worcestershire.gov.uk.
