Worcestershire Education Business Partnership scoops national award

Worcestershire County Council's Education Business Partnership (EBP) has collected a prestigious national award from the Institute for Education Business Excellence for its ongoing work in connecting the worlds of education and employment for the benefit of the county's young people.

The award for Education Business Excellence accredits organisations to the Department for Children, Schools and Families' National Standard for Education Business Partnership Organisations and recognises the continued efforts and high standards achieved by the Worcestershire EBP. 

Terry Owens, Manager of Worcestershire Education Business Partnership, said: "We are delighted to be one of the first EBPs to be accredited with the Award for Education Business Excellence. We are pleased our efforts to improve the learning experiences of young people in Worcestershire have been recognised at a national level by the Institute for Education Business Excellence. We are all extremely proud of the work-related learning, enterprise services and support for diplomas and the curriculum that we offer which help our schools develop the skills of their young people in preparation for the future.”
