County companies’ marketing meeting is “the place to
be”
Worcestershire’s countywide business
network has been hailed as “the place to be for local businesses”
following another successful breakfast event (Tuesday, March
20).
Finditinworcestershire’s latest breakfast
and networking meeting, themed ‘Maximise Your Marketing’, attracted
more than 110 delegates to Worcester Warriors’ Sixways Stadium on
Tuesday, March 20.
The free event featured an in-depth
presentation from Jenny Long, Managing Director of IceBlue
Marketing & Design Ltd, that demystified modern marketing tools
such as QR Codes, social media, viral campaigns and search engine
optimisation (SEO).
The visitors from companies all around the
county also took part in an open networking session with their
fellow business owners, directors and senior managers, alongside a
range of exhibition stands and a complimentary breakfast.
‘Maximise Your Marketing’ followed last
month’s hugely successful meeting, which marked
Finditinworcestershire’s first birthday and welcomed approximately
250 delegates. With more than 2,400 members registered since its
2011 launch, Finditinworcestershire organisers say it’s the place
to be for local businesses, both in person and online.
Kathryn Wagstaff, Project Manager
of Finditinworcestershire, said: “We’re delighted with yet
another strong turn-out. Finditinworcestershire has rapidly become
an essential resource for local businesses to get involved with.
More than 400 contract opportunities worth at least £20 million
have been posted on our website, so – whether it’s in person at our
monthly meetings or online via our website – Finditinworcestershire
is the place to be for local business.”
The next Finditinworcestershire breakfast
and networking meeting will be focussed on construction and will
offer delegates the chance to ‘meet the buyer’ from a number of
major contractors. Free places for the event on Tuesday 17 April
are available to book online now.

Finditinworcestershire was developed by
Worcestershire County Council and aims to boost the county’s
economy by giving local businesses the support and contacts they
need to pitch for, and win, more and bigger contracts – and to
'match-make' local businesses that can trade with each other.
