Action-packed activities at Outdoor Education
Centres
Worcestershire County Council's Outdoor
Education Centres at Upton Warren near Bromsgrove, and Malvern
Hills are running a packed programme of activities to keep families
entertained this spring.
From bushcraft and survival skills, archery
and climbing, to canoeing and kayaking - families can take part in
a range of activities from as little as £7.50 per session.
The spring months are a great time
to introduce people to new experiences and the Outdoor Education
Centres' facilities offer the perfect answer for families looking
for adventure on their doorstep.
Head of Centres, Phil Ascough,
said: "Keeping young people entertained can sometimes be
challenging. We are opening our centres to local families to give
them the opportunity to try something new together. Parents can
leave their children with our experienced staff for a couple of
hours, or they can stay and watch, or even better – have a go
themselves!"
Upton Warren is holding activities over the
last weekends in February and March and Malvern Hills is opening
its doors for families on the first Sunday of the month -
4th March and 1st April. All sessions are
dependent on numbers so advance booking is essential.
Please call the centres directly for more
details and booking information. Upton Warren OEC can be contacted
on 01527 861426, Malvern Hills OEC 01684 574546.
Worcestershire County Council's three outdoor
