Weather update
The County Council's gritting team will be standing by
ready to monitor the county's highways network this evening
(Wednesday, February 8) as the cold spell continues and
temperatures are predicted to drop to -4 overnight.
The
authority's 31 vehicles will be on standby to roll out if
needed but motorists are being asked to drive with caution and
never assume that just because a road has been gritted it's safe to
travel at normal speeds.
