Looked After Children

Looked After Children Banner

Most Children Who are looked after stay with foster families, carers who have been approved and trained by us to look after children in their own home. For other children staying in a residential children's home is the preferred option.

While children are being looked after we will make sure that they have regular contact with people who they want to see and who are important to them.

Most children return to Live at home later. However, if it is not safe, or in the child's best interests to do so, we will arrange a suitable long term or permanent place for the child to live.
