Welcome to Worcestershire County Council's Procurement pages.

Every year Worcestershire County Council spends approximately £270m on the procurement of Goods, Works and Services and in so doing it is committed to effectively working with its suppliers and promoting opportunities for organisations from all sectors.

Procurement is delegated to Directorates – the Strategic Procurement Team advises, assists, encourages and challenges Directorates on major procurements, identifies, develops and shares best practice, recognises opportunities for corporate contracts and implements them, and ensures compliance with legislative requirements and the Council's Standing Orders.

In these pages you will find the information you need to start doing business with us. The Council has well-established procedures for offering work or buying products and does not usually respond to unsolicited enquiries or applications.
